How to determine the thread of your faucet?
In order to determine which adapter you need, you first need to know the thread size of your faucet's original aerator.
Step 1: Remove the aerator from your faucet
Most faucets are equipped with an aerator, also called an aerator. To determine the thread, you must unscrew it.
Step 2: Determine the thread type
Once unscrewed, your aerator is either:
- Female: the thread is inside the aerator
- Male: the thread is on the outside of the aerator
Step 3: Determine the diameter of your aerator
- Male: The measurement should be taken on the outer edges of your aerator
- Female: The measurement should be taken on the inside edges of your aerator
