Pureva
DEMOCRATIZE ACCESS TO QUALITY FILTERED TAP WATER

The origin
The entrepreneurial spirit quickly became apparent among his two 27-year-old childhood friends. Vincent first showed signs of success, dropping out of medical school early to start a digital marketing and e-commerce company. Enthused by the experience, he quickly convinced Adrien in 2019, who had graduated from business school and was then working at BNP Paribas.
As a backdrop to this shared entrepreneurial adventure, these two Martinicans have become aware of something.
With the starting point being chlordecone, a toxic pesticide used in Martinique from 1972 to 1993 for intensive banana farming, which contaminated the soil and water tables and continues to contaminate the water Martinicans drink every day today. With this health scandal as a watermark, they quickly understood that access to clean tap water was problematic everywhere in France due to the dilapidated state of the pipe networks and the presence of pollutants and other pesticides.

The creation
This raises a question for Adrien and Vincent: how can they act and what can they do to ensure they are drinking quality water? In 2021, disappointed by the effectiveness and price of filtration solutions already on the market, they founded Pureva and set themselves the mission of making filtered tap water a common good accessible to all and a standard for the general public.

The product
In their first phase of development, they designed a natural microfiltration device attached directly to the faucet, working with industry experts. They thus transformed each faucet into a source of purer, healthier water. The evidence of this demonstration, particularly in contact with the Martinican population, earned them encouraging success. This success is amplified by online sales, which allows them to have customers in more than 20 countries.

Development
Building on this success, they are completing a first round of crowdfunding via the Tudigo platform after being introduced by Jean-Pierre Nadir (Founder of Easy Voyage, Fairmoove, and judge on the M6 show "Who wants to become my partner"). This new step will allow them to improve their system in 2024 and make it more efficient with natural microfiltration of 0.1 microns, guaranteeing optimal quality water without reducing minerals.
Their ambition is to become the leading supplier of tap water filters.
